Are you a Trailblazer? Some may define such a person based on age or athletic prowess. Others suggest it is another name for our inner spirit, a will to push the boundaries even just a little. We say that the term is rather insignificant... as long as you like to have fun!

The CMC Trailblazers are a new section of the Denver Group for the 20-40 age group (plus or minus a few). Our purpose goes beyond the normal hiking and snow adventures of the club to create a network of peers who can be contacted for many different sport and social activities. In addition to monthly happy hours that attract over 50 people per event, we have pool tournaments, movie and dance nights, volleyball, BBQ's, and river trips.

For those of you interested in specific sports, we have developed a database that identifies ours members by 14 different activities ranging from backpacking to mountain biking and skiing to golf. It even lists whether someone is a beginner, intermediate or advanced participant! All of this can be found in a few minutes on our secured web site.

The Denver Group has over 2200 members between the ages of 20 - 40. It only cost $15 / year in addition to CMC membership to join our group and start networking with your peers. In addition to getting access to our sports database, you will receive a bimonthly newsletter listing our many activities, the ability to send e-mail on our own list server, and a carte blanche invitation to lead your own event.*

Friday, March 5
Happy Hour

Let’s kick off the weekend at the Rock Bottom Brewery on 16th and Curtis. Parking is free, if you park at the Independence Plaza off Curtis (just east of 16th Street Mall, north side of Curtis). Pick up a parking token at the brewery during the Happy Hour. Let’s meet at 6PM in the Back Bar. No RSVP needed. Contact is Birgit.

Happy Hour

7PM at Croc’s Mexican Grille, 1630 Market. Stop by for a couple drinks after a long work week. Home of the best taco salad in Denver. No RSVP needed. Todd.

Pool Night

7:00P at B-52 Billiards, 1920 Market St., Denver. Pool is free on Thursdays. No RSVP necessary. Just come hang out. Some play pool, some chat. Beginners & Experts welcome. Contact is Steve.
