US Retail Discount Schedule
1-4 titles - 20%
5-9 titles - 40%
10-24 titles - 45%
25+ titles - 45% + free freight
This schedule applies to single or assorted
titles and to library orders.
Calendars
Discount: 50% returnable; 55% nonreturnable
(min. order of six). Returns accepted for
2003 calendars until March 31, 2003.

Shipping
Free shipping on prepaid orders and on orders
of more than 25 books. All others FOB Seattle.
Returns/Claims Policy
All returns must be in unmarked resaleable
condition and packed in cartons weighing
less than 50 lbs. Returns must be made within
one year of invoice date. Claims for shortages
or damaged books must be made within 30
days of receipt to be eligible for credit
or replacement and must be returned at customer's
expense.

for sales review or by a qualified media

Request An Event
Many of our authors are available to visit
your store and host a program or event for
your customers. Most programs are about
an hour and feature a slide show and book
signing. Contact the Colorado Mountain Club
Press (303.996.2743) at least 10 weeks in
advance if you are interested in an event.
Possible venues include bookstores, outdoor
retailers, libraries, clubs, classrooms,
nature centers, gift shops, corporate groups
and other interest groups. We can assist
you in publicizing your event with fliers,
posters and in getting the word out to the

Request Marketing Materials
We are ready to help support you and your
sales effort with exciting marketing materials
for our books, including displays, bookmarks
and posters. We can work with you to create
a marketing tool that suits your needs.
Currently we have counter displays for all
of our books in the 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
and 6" x 9" formats, holding 5
to 7 copies. These attractive displays measure
7" wide x 7" deep by 10"
high. They include graphics identifying
them boldly as products of the Colorado
Mountain Club. An optional "header
card" can feature customized graphics
at the request of the reseller. Displays
