Stacy Wolff, School Program Manager

Stacy joined the YEP staff in October, 2006. Her work as naturalist and educator for the Colorado Division of Wildlife, environmental learning centers, and public schools has provided Stacy with extensive skills and experience related to mountain education. Stacy is an avid rock climber and back country hiker.

Krista Javoronok, Field Program Manager

Krista has managed the Youth Education Program since 2002. She has a broad back ground in outdoor education, and has worked for the Colorado State Forest Service, summer camps, and Northern Colorado Youth Naturally. Krista's personal mission is to build awareness of natural places through hands-on science and recreation. Her outdoor interests include rock climbing, skiing, and trail running.

Certifications: Wilderness First Responder/CPR, Level II Avalanche, American Mountain Guides Top-rope Site Manager

Kevin Salys, Youth Education Specialist

Kevin has instructed for several outdoor education programs including Outward Bound. He loves positively impacting people's live thru the outdoors and hleping them to find new passions. Kevin like just about everything outdoors: climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding/telemarking, mountain biking, international travel

Brenda Porter, Education Director

Brenda initiated the CMC's Youth Education Program in 1999. She was thrilled to culminate her past work for regional parks, non-profits and schools as naturalist, guide, science teacher, outdoor program manager, and Peace Corps/Honduras community development volunteer. Brenda is active in the Association for Experiential Education (AEE), currently serving as chair of the Rocky Mountain Region and co-chair of the Conferences Advisory Committee. She enjoys hiking and back-country skiing with Bellatrix, the friendly labrador retriever often seen at the CMC, as well as watercolor painting in the open air.

Certifications: Wilderness First Responder/CPR (first aid), Leave No Trace Master, past Colorado Teaching License, Native Plant Master.
